[Job Description]
We are looking for a passionate Front-End Development Intern to join digital innovation team. If you are someone who is creative and loves to design innovative user interfaces leveraging new technology, paradigms, and practices to provide superior products; You will work closely with our UX Designer to produce and modify application interfaces.
You work will have oppertunites to expose in the global technology conference i.e. SXSW, CES and competing in the adversiting awawrd i.e. Cannes lions and oneshow.
You will also available to access latest gadgets in the innovation room in the agency. i.e. Oculus Rift, Leap Motion, 3D printer, Projector, Kinect
[Responsibilities]
* Create rich web UIs that merge with back-end components using JavaScript in conjunction with HTML & CSS3
* Collaborate with design team to build cross-browser compatible and performance-optimized UIs, as well as develop and maintain front-end HTML/CSS/JS
* Prototype creative solutions quickly and have the ability to collaborate with others in crafting and implementing the technical vision.
* Basic knowledge or familiar with Adobe Creative Suite 6
* A team player that flourishes in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
* Open to constructive criticism and customer feedback
* Independently analyze problems and develop insightful solutions
* Convey actionable recommendations based on industry standards and innovative ideas
[Required Skills and Experience]
* Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or other related discipline
* Experience building interactive prototypes; live and breathe HTML/CSS/JS
* Experience developing front-end web or mobile applications
* Experience with responsive design, grid systems, deferred loading schemes, and clean animation rendering
* Understand web standards technologies, including jQuery, Bootstrap and libraries
* Strong desire to create the best front-end solutions and the ability to execute them
* Ability to work cross-disciplinary, collaborating with designers, QAs and managers
* Ability to communicate your ideas both visually and verbally
* An inquisitive mind with great intellectual curiosity
* A deep appreciation of great design and craftsmanship; an exceptional eye for detail
* Ablity and knowledge to set up Ruby stack or LAMP server
* Famility with source code control tools git and github.
* Ruby language/rails is perfered
