历年的大学生毕业统计,给我们敲了一下警钟。你看着周边的同学,都是不紧不慢的样子,但实际上统计局的数字却一直是热乎乎的。
去年有 820 万的大学毕业生,根据智联招聘 3 月份发布的《 2018 年应届生就业力调研报告》显示,至少 1/4 的同学没有收到任何一份 offer, 而今年只会更多。从去年各大厂把自己的秋招都提前了至少 3 个月可以看得出来,人才的掠夺战,从大四下半年就开始了。
技术上我们在公众号 [有关 SQL ] 已经提了很多,今天我们谈谈如何面试外企,在面试中会有哪些必知必会。一路走来小编少说也面试了近 10 场正规的外企,到现在作为华尔街投行的 BI Manager 也是面试了近百人。很多优秀的人才在面试中的表现,差强人意,导致最后有货倒不出来,可惜!
既然是外企,当然是用英语。平时若不准备,那么现在起就把这些问题,自己尝试着用英语,详细地对着镜子练一遍吧。
你可以说,第一次面试外企,没有经验,但绝不能说,自己准备不充分。这是大忌!

ABC is the leading XXX producers in the world. The firm has rich product lines which means data application would be rich here.
ABC must hire the best people around the world . I think that will make me learn more and quick in order to keep pace with the firm. Learning makes me feel better.
I have developed much data applcation projects around the information system , including oltp and olap applications.All of the applications are performing well.
I have similar experiences when I was building data warehousing system at ABC. It's a cosmetics industry and have millions of users in china.
with 3 projects working with foreign teams I have experience to communicate with them and make the project be delivered in time.
years ago I began to lead a datawarehouse team to deliver the bi applications , including ETL projects and reporting projects.
and now I lead4 members to design etl and reporting projects at ABC group.
a) improve the system performance and keep the complain rate from users lower down
here is what i did:
migrate the ETL jobs scheduled at the night window time so that little comflict between read and write operations on database
migrate the logging database to mongodb which has replication implemented
migrate the full text search from oracle to elasticsearch
audit the sql statements and refine it if it has performance issues
b) establish the knowledge sharing with junior members so that they are ware of the sql programming best practices
learn from others
communicate with other effeciently
keep learning technology
why provides such a position ? what do you want from the data architect
what do you think of the data applications in the firm now, do you think these applications really improve the working efficiency ?
what is the challange in the data warehouse application , more detail would be better to know the key challange i would face
more business would be good since it will require more data applications from internal it department.
would my boss give more rights to me so that i can take a lead on the project and learn from mistakes and make the projects better.
not keep the requirements very clear from users. key users always want their requirements fulfilled today and see the apparence tommorrow morning. sometime we make a sacrifies which means a lot of extract working time. but i think it depends more on users and espically key users and some of them are c-level users.
didn't ask for more resource from outside. I think if more skilled people are hired the project would be done in time and efficiency
ask for more reasonable resources from my boss . that would give a big lesson I should overcome next project.
7 what do you think you should do as a team player
you must learn somthing really hard and be good at that thing. you musht have an outstanding skills at your team, better if more
try to master all of the skills used in the project and as well as the business , try to fix any issues whenever possible.
help team members to archive the level I have and catch the skills others have, learn from each other and help each other
junior team members would have some obstacle on sql programming I would help them and share technique knowledge with them
if i have some problems on any skills i would ask help from google first , if not lucky, i would ask help from team members who is good at resolving it , like git, deploy building up scripts and so on

认真打扮自己,无论男女,无论岗位。做 IT 的形象也很重要,头发乱糟糟,大裤衩,大拖鞋,三天不洗澡,统统不可取;
谈吐不卑不吭:说话大声不一定是无礼,你要说的让人听得懂,首先就要让别人听得见。平时口头禅少讲一些。
打印好简历:外企面试通常技术部的人直面的很多,而技术人忙的焦头烂额,可能没有及时打印你的简历。这时你如果一式两份,装订好,给人的印象极佳。对于应届生来说,这样的你真的非常适合做队友。在这几年面试候选人的过程中,仅有一位候选人给过我这样的印象。不谈技术,就这样的觉悟,顿时比别人高出一截。
